Scholarship Guidelines
partial scholarship eligibility
SMArT Scholarship Program is applicable for our published workshops and courses (except the advanced level Expressive Body program) from the SC, ST, OBC, DBA categories, across religions, and individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+ or non-binary genders.
We would like to extend our support to participants from caste and gender minorities. Once we reach a sustainable number of participants and break even, we would be happy to extend meaningful support as scholarships/waivers/
Availability & Award Amount
Partial Scholarships are available for our workshops and courses (except for Expressive Body). Whenever we are able to award scholarships, our partial scholarship award can cover a percentage of the full rate. Our scholarship award determinations are made by our Scholarships & Merit Awards Committee, based on several factors, including the size of our award fund and the approximate number of participants enrolling.
Applicants should only apply for a scholarship if they are able to pay a certain portion of the course fees.
Qualifications
To qualify for a partial scholarship, prospective participants must complete and submit the Partial Scholarship Application Form, answering all questions on the form honestly and fully.
Award Notifications
All applicants will be notified of their award status by email 2 weeks prior to the workshop/course commencing. We appreciate your patience while applications are under review.
Refund Policy
The intention of our scholarship program is to support individuals who are dedicated to becoming increasingly empowered change agents, but who otherwise would not be able to afford to enroll in our workshops/courses. We, therefore, expect applicants to be firmly committed to the workshop/course participation, and for that reason, the portion of the fee paid by scholarship recipients is non-refundable, regardless of what the standard or advertised refund policy is for full-tuition attendees of that particular workshop/course.
