The Expressive Body is an advanced level training program that has been designed to delve into the deeper cords of the foundation of the therapeutic relationship and explore poignant themes and topics in the current world of expressive arts therapy. Held in Jungian expressive arts framework, an important module in this program is Natural Dreamwork which will be facilitated by Laura Riva Smith

In this conversation, Laura talks about the value of Natural Dreamwork in therapy, especially in relation to Trauma work.

Laura Smith-Riva is a certified Natural Dreamwork Practitioner. She combines a love of the natural world and creativity with a deep commitment to the wisdom of dreams to offer one-on-one dream consultations to individuals in the US and abroad. A third-year student of the Green Mountain Druid School, she explores the individual’s connection to the natural world through an experiential exploration of dreams and is developing dream-inspired nature-based practices designed to support, enliven and deepen the dream wisdom.

Laura hails from the mysterious Green Mountains of Vermont. Her poetry, prose, and artwork have been published in numerous magazines, journals, and E-zines.
